Jeff Carlson from St. Paul's UCC in Chicago.\n\nCome to learn about the work CWS is doing to welcome refugees through RefugeeOne and about the broader work of RefugeeOne. You will also have a chance to hear from Rev. Carlson about St. Paul's experience in helping refugees the last several years.\n\nRefugeeOne\, Chicago’s largest refugee resettlement agency\, provides a full range of coordinated services to refugees resettled through the U.S. Department of State. Our mission is to create opportunity for refugees fleeing war\, terror\, and persecution to build new lives of safety\, dignity\, and self-reliance. Since 1982\, RefugeeOne has welcomed more than 18\,000 refugees from nearly every major world crisis. Now\, with the Biden administration’s revision of the current admissions ceiling\, plus a commitment to raising it to 125\,000 beginning in October\, we expect to welcome many more refugees in the coming months and years.
