Spring Meeting of Chicago Metropolitan Association

| $30.00Greetings to the Chicago Metropolitan Association congregations, clergy, laity, and UCC-related community, health and educational institutions. Let us gather together at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Elmhurst, Illinois on Saturday, May 7, 2016 for our Annual Spring Meeting. This will be a time for celebration, worship, fellowship, learning and faith sharing.
The theme of this year’s Spring Meeting is “Changing Lives: Continuing Testament – Unleashing Ministry.” We will be unleashing ministry through worship, led by our host pastor Rev. Dr. Rich Wolf, a discussion on the UCC’s New Beginning Assessment Program for the renewing of local congregations, and a special youth event featuring the Cluster Six Youth Initiative program, “Off the Pews and Into the Streets: a Faith-Based Community Response to Youth Violence.”
Our meeting will begin with on-site registration and continental breakfast at 8:00 am. We will gather for worship and communion led by Rev. Dr. Rich Wolf of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Elmhurst at 8:45 a.m., then split into adult or youth components. See flyer below for more information.
The registration fee of $25 ($30 on-site) includes continental breakfast, snacks and lunch.
There is a reduced registration fee of $15 for Members-in-Discernment and Retired Clergy.
Registration is free for youth, but registration is still required.
The program Off the Pews and Into the Streets will cover the registration costs for Youth (18 years and under).
